The day to be born on the Fourth of July came and went, sparing us from having to name the baby something patriotic. Like Martha Washington. Or Abigail. Or George. Oh-- actually Madison would have been patriotic, and not a bad name.
For now, however, she stews in there and gains half a pound per week.

It looks like a Claire Helen would be a good name. And she did come and, girl she be. Would believe anything I heard, but I did note with her Astrological sign and her profile that she is already acting in accordance with the heavens from which she came.
My expectations are that you guys are in for a ride!
My emmisary departs tomorrow for Seattleland. Take care of her. She may be the only reasonable one in the California bunch. I send figs and a second bottle of wine.
